The Morning After.

It's been six months since the liberal media held their coronation for Barack Hussein Obama and the Kool-ade they served at the "All Hail Obama" party seems to be wearing off. All of those sugary platitudes that spewed forth from their Messiah's sacred teleprompter have turned into a throbbing trillion dollar hangover.

It's the morning after. The independents have found the coffee pot and are seeing the first term senator/social agitator they voted for as the manufactured candidate who is nothing more than a card board cut-out propped up by the liberal elite and the members of the 'mainstream' media. The left-wing Democrats are still having their spending party and America is getting the tab.

This President has put his socialist spending agenda on the front burner and has done nothing to spur the economic growth to put Americans back to work. Add to that the next increase in the minimum wage this week and the burden on small business has grown much heavier. If you trace the nations economic problems to their start you can see they started not long after the first of Nancy Pelosi's minimum wage increases took effect, last summer. But these problems won't deter the Democrats. Joe Biden happily points out that this spending must continue to "keep us from going bankrupt".

And now Mr. Obama wants to ram a government take-over of health-care through congress by their August 7th break. Nothing in the proposed legislation is devoted to accounting for the outrageous costs, over billing and inflated prices for prescription drugs. Instead it merely puts the U.S. Government in the seat of Blue Cross and other private health-care industries. In other words, 'who cares how much it costs, the government is paying'. This is yet another way for our government to put more cronies on the U.S. payroll and to be lobbied by the drug companies. The pigs want more in their troughs.

In the latest Rassmussen poll for the 2012 election, the great Obama is tied with Mitt Romny. I think we can safely say the Obama honeymoon is officially over. Unfortunately we still have three years and six months of the marriage to get through.
